A 5th generation native of Louisville, Colorado, D’Ette Delforge was introduced to jewelry making in high school. Now with 35 years of experience has become very knowledgeable in many aspects of the jewelry industry, including retail, wholesale, manufacturing, stone setting and repairs. She also specializes in custom design and restoration.
In 1996 she received the Diamonds Today For Every Day award. D’Ette’s bold bracelet with a brilliant bezel-set diamond is one of 25 winning diamond jewelry designs chosen from over 200 entries that were submitted for the most prestigious design competition hosted by the Diamond Information Center. Her design was featured on the DeBeers television ads as well as major magazine publications.
In 2012 D’Ette was a finalist in the Sual Bell Design Awards. Her 18kt gold ring features a turning top, for an alternative choice of stones, and contains over 90 diamonds. She attended the award ceremony at the JCK jewelry show in Las Vegas, where she received her outstanding achievement award.
Again in 2013, D’Ette was a finalist in the Palladium Alliance International’s Design contest. Her fashion forward ring design featured a black Ballas diamond crystal, and 85 diamonds. Her ring was worn by Kathy Griffin to the 2013 Grammy Awards, and also by Vanessa Hudgens at the Roxy launch party in NYC.
D’Ette describes her jewelry as “Simple Elegance”. “Contemporary yet classic has always been my style. Comfort, wear ability and good clean design has always been my trademark.”
D’Ette has a full line of hand made custom jewelry including rings, pendants, earrings and hand forged bracelets with the ability to create whatever your heart desires. The settings include both colored stones and diamonds in all shapes and sizes. She also has a line of sterling silver jewelry which features 14kt. yellow gold accents with a variety of colored stones.
